Darkmoon Races

For these achievements you will need to compete in the two Darkmoon races at the end of the island with all the different mounts they have. Every mount has different abilities. The races have multiple checkpoints that you have to hit, and several items and traps on the tracks, to help or hinder you. There will be a bell tolling during the race, indicating how much time has passed since the start. To complete the achievements you will need to finish the race in the number of tolls indicated in the achievement.

There is one extra achievement with the Wanderluster, Darkmoon Like the Wind for gliding for more than 10 seconds. It's easily obtainable during The Real Big Race.

Starting at 00:00 and every 3h during the Darkmoon Faire, a chest will appear inside the Darkmoon Arena. You will be hostile to all other players except the ones in your party. The objective is to loot the chest before anyone else. Opening the chest has a ~10 sec. cast. You will get a Pit Fighter trinket which starts a quest, and some other Darkmoon goodies.

If you open the chest a 13th time after getting the Master Pit Fighter, you will recieve the trinket Returning Champion to use on any character.

The Blight Boar is a band that performs in the Cauldron of Rock, in the eastern Darkmoon Island woods every hour on the half hour (00:30, 1:30, etc.). The Death Metal Knight will come to crash the performance and players will have to defeat him. They can also catch Bolts of Light to gain "fan" points, and dodge Banshee Walls to avoid losing "fan" points. After the Death Metal Knight is defeated, there will be Ghouls attacking Devlynn Styx. You can attack them to kick them away and gain "fan" points.

  • Hey, You're a Rockstar! - You will get this achievement after the Blight Boar performance finishes.

  • Taking this Show on the Road - After the performance is over, having missed 0-2 Bolts of Light, and having been hit by 0-2 Banshee Walls will grant you one of the 4 buffs. You will need to participate in several performances and get all of the different buffs to get this achievement.

  • Rune Matching: The rules are simple! Match 3 or more runes for points. More than 3 and you get bonus points. If you manage to get 100,000 points, you might unlock an additional level of difficulty.
  • Bull-E: Uncross the wires to fix poor Bull-E's circuits. There is only one difficulty level: Pretty easy to insane-o hard. Give up and you have to start from the beginning.

  • Remembery: Flip the shells Remember where they are, and match the pairs.
  • Totemic Matrix: To develop harmony with the elements, one must study and understand the interactions between them. Simply touch a totem to invoke it. Know that all things are connected, a lesson invaluable in this puzzle…as in life.

It will cost 1 Darkmoon Game Token to unlock the console for the day, but you'll be able to play as long as you like. Your reward? The warm fuzzy feeling of achieving victory in the pursuit of mind over machine.
