Faithful Dog

Faithful Dog is your loyal companion from Valley of the Four Winds. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to unlock this devoted pet and add him to your collection!

Pandaria - Sunsong Ranch

Lost Dog can be found in the Valley of the Four Winds. At 12600/21000 reputation with The Tillers, you will be able to pick up the quest Lost and Lonely. Once you complete it, he will join you at the Sunsong Ranch.

Draenor - Garrison

In Draenor, Dog follows us and sits near our Herb Garden in the Garrison. Note that you have to unlock the Herb Garden in order for him to show up.

Broken Isles - Dalaran

After Legion launched, Dog was left alone in the Garrison, until a way to teleport him to Dalaran was implemented in Patch 7.2. In order to do that, you're going to need a Pebble, which can be found scattered throughout Dalaran. You can also purchase one from the Auction House.

Note that these Pebbles are really small, you might have to zoom in to spot them. Check out the following comprehensive map made by Kruithne for their spawn locations.

Once you have a Pebble, head over to your Garrison and show the stone to Dog.

Once you go back to Dalaran, you will find Dog in the Pet Menagerie.

Khaz Algar - Tranquil Strand

In the War Within expansion, Dalaran gets teleported and ultimately destroyed on Khaz Algar. Find the Half-Buried Dog Bowl among the remains of Dalaran on the Tranquil Strand (Isle of Dorn) and interact with it to reunite with Faithful Dog!
