Glimmer Hunter Pet Guide
Glimmer is one of the rare hunter pets obtainable in Mists of Pandaria. It has the appearance of a red and white water strider and can only be tamed by Beast Mastery Hunters.

- To tame Glimmer you will need to follow tracks it leaves behind all over it’s path from "The Arboretum" all the way to "Nectarbreeze Orchard". The tracks are only visible if you are specced into Beast Mastery.
- Glimmer takes about 30 minutes to travel from one end of it’s path to the other, but it is still one of the harder MoP rares to find because most of it’s path is heavily phased.
How to Tame Glimmer
- In your graphics settings turn your ground clutter settings to 1. It makes spotting the tracks much easier.
- Make a quick tour over the whole route and check if you can find it on either side of the route.
- If you can’t find any tracks, camp out on either side of the phased area and wait for the tracks to appear.
- If you didn’t spot any tracks for 10 minutes check over the whole route again and try finding it that way.
- Follow the tracks until you find the spot where new tracks appear. This is where the pet is.
- After finding the pet you will need to reveal it with Flare to then start taming it.
Tip: You will need to place your flare a little in front of the pet so you will have enough time to finish your tame cast.
