Highmountain Tauren Allied Race Guide
Highmountain Tauren are one of the five Horde Allied Races introduced during Battle for Azeroth, alongside Mag'har Orcs, Nightborne, Vulpera and Zandalari Trolls.

How to unlock Highmountain Tauren
To unlock the Highmountain Tauren Allied Race you have to reach Level 40 with any character on your account.
After you've done that, the recruitment scenario for the Highmountain Tauren becomes available in the Orgrimmar Embassy.
Mount
Upon completing the recruitment scenario you will receive the Highmountain Thunderhoof mount.
Heritage Armor
After creating your first Highmountain Tauren, you'll receive the Highmountain Tabard.
Reaching level 50 on a Highmountain Tauren character awards the achievement Heritage of Highmountain and unlocks the heritage armor set.
Racial Spells
- Bull Rush - Charge forward for 1 sec, knocking enemies down for 1.5 sec.
- Pride of Ironhorn - Mining skill increased by 15 and allows you to mine faster.
- Mountaineer - Increases your Versatility by 1%.
- Rugged Tenacity - Reduces damage taken.
- Waste Not, Want Not - You have a chance to loot additional meat and fish.
