Timewalking Event Guide

The Timewalking Event allows players to queue for a random dungeon from a past expansion while having their level scaled down appropiately. These dungeons reward you with gear that will scale back up once the dungeon is over, as well as with Timewarped Badges, which can be exchanged for more gear, collectibles and other goodies at the appropiate vendor for each event. The final boss of the first dungeon you complete each time the event is up will also provide you with a turn-in quest that rewards 500 Badges.

The Burning Crusade

Players at level 71 or above can queue for The Burning Crusade timewalking dungeons on the LFG tool. The available dungeons are:

This event also includes a timewalking version of the Black Temple raid, which doesn't have a solo queue, but instead you have to queue with a raid group by speaking to Vormu in Shattrath.

The vendor for this event is Cupri. You can find her in Shattrath.

  • Bag of Fishing Treasures - Purchased for 150 Badges. Contains fishing rewards from Outland, most notably the baby crocolisk pets Snarly's Bucket, Chuck's Bucket, Toothy's Bucket and Muckbreath's Bucket.
  • Barrel of Fish - Purchased for 25 Badges. Contains fish from Outland, and a chance for exclusive cooking recipes only obtainable from cooking and fishing dailies from Outland and Northrend.
  • Crate of Meat - Purchased for 25 Badges. Contains meat from Outland, and a chance for exclusive cooking recipes only obtainable from cooking and fishing dailies from Outland and Northrend.

Feats of Strength

This Feat of Strength will reward you with Arsenal: The Warglaives of Azzinoth, an exclusive weapon transmog for Demon Hunters. The requirement for this achievement is to complete another Feat of Strength, Warglaives of Azzinoth, and then defeat Illidan in Timewalking Black Temple.

Both Feats of Strengths are account-wide, which means that the character defeating Illidan in Timewalking Black Temple can be a different character than the one holding the original Warglaives. Both characters can also be non-Demon Hunters as you will still get the Warglaives of Azzinoth transmog unlocked account-wide.

Wrath of the Lich King

Players at level 81 and above can queue for Wrath of the Lich King timewalking dungeons on the LFG tool. The available dungeons are:

This event also includes a timewalking version of the Ulduar raid, which doesn't have a solo queue, but instead you have to queue with a raid group by speaking to Vormu in Northrend Dalaran.

The vendor for this event is Auzin. You can find him in Northrend Dalaran.

  • Small Spice Bag - Purchased for 25 Badges. Contains spices for Northrend cooking and a chance for exclusive cooking recipes only obtainable from cooking and fishing dailies from Outland and Northrend.
  • Bag of Fishing Treasures - Purchased for 150 Badges. Contains a wide variety of fishing-related rewards and junk. It's one of the few sources for the Strand Crawler and the only source for the Unusual Compass.

  • Reins of the Infinite Timereaver - This mount can drop from all bosses that you defeat while in a timewalking dungeon or raid of any expansion. It has a very low chance to drop.
