PvP Gear Cheat Sheet, Hotfixes, Clarifications
Battle for Azeroth PvP Season 1 has started, and Blizzard has explained what item level gear is awarded for each PvP bracket. Game Designer Chris Kaleiki has also shared a cheat sheet on his twitter, mentioning that Weapon Enchantments will soon be available from a vendor.
Blizzard has also confirmed that the item level of the PvP gear rewards has now been confirmed to be just a visual bug, and the actual reward will be a level 340+ weapon choice for your class. The item level of this weapon will scale each week depending on your rating.
Once you get 500 Conquest, you will receive a quest to return to The Mugambala (Horde) or Hook Point (Alliance) to choose your weapon.
Hotfixes
Island Expeditions
- Seafarer's Dubloon items may no longer be used in PvP Island Expeditions. Developers' notes: We're looking for ways to use Dubloons in the future, but for the time being, we do not feel that Dubloon use makes for a good experience in a PvP setting.
Player vs Player
- Relentless (PvP Talent) and Hardiness (Orc Racial) no longer stack their Stun duration reduction effects.
- Fixed a bug that was preventing the weekly Conquest turn-in quests from being pushed to some players.
- Bonus Rolls for Rated Arena and Rated Battleground matches will now be removed when leaving the instance.

Once you reach 500 Conquest, you'll be given a quest to return to The Mugambala or Hook Point that lets you choose your weapon. The one displayed in the UI is just an example of one option. https://t.co/95cLn0MDWF
