To become a tester for the WoW Classic Beta: browse to the Beta Profile Settings page, find and select ‘World of Warcraft Classic’ under ‘Beta Tests I’m Interested In’, and then click the ‘Update Preferences’ button. An automated system will add new testers to the WoW Classic Beta Test as necessary.

Any third party e-mail messages, websites, or in-game whispers that offer beta keys or access to the WoW Classic Beta should be considered illegitimate and ignored or reported. Please see our Phishing Scams support article for more details on dealing with such messages.

As always, Blizzard Customer Service cannot assist with beta access.

The longstanding RAF program is going on hiatus while we construct something new that makes it even more rewarding to introduce your friends to World of Warcraft. As of June 11, 2019, the current program will come to an end, and you’ll no longer be able to send new RAF invitations. Don’t worry though—the program will be back in its new form before you know it.

To take advantage of the current RAF program, your friend will need to link a qualifying WoW account to yours before June 11, and will have 90 days to purchase game time to trigger any rewards.* Check out the RAF web page for the details on the current program and the available rewards.

We look forward to sharing the details of the new RAF program with you in the future!

*Recruited friends must not already have a World of Warcraft account, or their account must be fewer than 30 days old. Link period lasts for 90 days after your friend's account was first created.

What's new in Patch 8.1.5

In Patch 8.1.5 there are three new balloon pets to collect. You can purchase them from Carl Goodup for 90 Darkmoon Prize Tickets each.

These pets are not cageable so you cannot purchase them from the Auction House. If you're in need of tickets you can complete the Treasure Hunt for Silas’ Secret Stash, which rewards you with 100 tickets.

There are also some curious Severed Fish Heads that you can put on your head: Severed Crimsonscale Head and Severed Azurefin Head. They are time-limited and have Old Gods hints as descriptions: "Something strange is happening in the waters surrounding Darkmoon Island..."

Patch 8.1.5 also brings out a new attraction to the Darkmoon Faire: The Roller Coaster - a motion sickness simulation in a first-person point of view. Similar to the Darkmoon Carousel, you can take the Roller Coaster to get a 10% experience and reputation buff for 1 hour (WHEE!).
