Enlightened Hearthstone – Secret Toy Guide

The Enlightened Hearthstone is a secret toy added in the Shadowlands expansion, later made visible in the Toy Box and discovered by players in Dragonflight. It's one of the hidden collectibles players can obtain as part of the Mind-Seeker achievement and its accompanying title.

Sphere of Enlightened Cogitation

First you have to find six players with the Sphere of Enlightened Cogitation, which has a chance to drop from The Enlightened paragon chest. To find players, you can join the Achievements Discord and make a group, or opt into the Enlightened Hearthstone toy role to receive notifications when new groups form.

Each of the six players must stand on one of the six hexagonal pillars surrounding the pool beneath the Forge of Afterlives in Zereth Mortis, then sit (using the /sit emote or keybind) and use the sphere toy.

If each player sits on one of the six pillars with the Sphere of Enlightened Cogitation active, a zone-wide emote will appear announcing that the Ponderer's Portal has opened.

Ponderer's Portal

Head to the southern pillar and loot the Enlightened Hearthstone from the portal. All nearby players can loot the toy, including those without the sphere or who didn't participate in the sequence. The portal has a 5 second cooldown after each player loots the toy and remains active for several minutes.
