Lightforged Draenei Allied Race Guide

The Lightforged Draenei Allied Race is one of the five Allied Races available to the Alliance in Battle for Azeroth, the other four being the Dark Iron Dwarves, the Kul Tiran Humans, the Mechagnomes and the Void Elves.

How to unlock Lightforged Draenei

To unlock the Lightforged Draenei Allied Race you have to earn the You Are Now Prepared! achievement by completing the Argus campaign.

After you've done that, the Recruitment Scenario for the Lightforged Draenei becomes available in the Stormwind Embassy.

Mount

Upon completing the Recruitment Scenario you will receive the Lightforged Felcrusher mount.

Heritage Armor

Once you've created your first Lightforged Draenei character you will receive the Lightforged Tabard.

If you level a Lightforged Draenei to level 50 without using a character boost, you will be rewarded with the Heritage of the Lightforged achievement, which in turn awards a Heritage Armor cosmetic transmog set.

Racial Spells

  • Light's Judgment - Call down a strike of Holy energy, dealing Holy damage to enemies within 5 yards after 3 sec.
  • Forge of Light - Summon a Forge of Light, enabling Blacksmithing. Blacksmithing skill increased by 10.
  • Demonbane - Experience gains from killing Demons increased by 20%.
  • Light's Reckoning - Erupt with Light upon death. Deals Holy damage to enemies within 8 yards and heals allies.
  • Holy Resistance - Reduces Holy damage taken by 1%.

  • Death Knight (available with the pre-purchase of Shadowlands)
  • Hunter
  • Mage
  • Paladin
  • Priest
  • Warrior

Lore

For untold millennia, the Army of the Light waged war against the Burning Legion throughout the Twisting Nether. The draenei most committed to their long crusade would undergo a ritual to become Lightforged, infusing their bodies with the very essence of the Holy Light. After finally achieving victory on Argus, the Lightforged draenei have undertaken a new mission: protecting Azeroth from rising threats and helping the Alliance push back against Horde aggression.
