Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking Event Guide

Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking is a bonus World Event where players can queue for Wrath of the Lich King timewalking dungeons and the Ulduar timewalking raid. Defeating bosses and completing instances rewards Timewarped Badges, a currency that can be exchanged for goods from Timewalking Vendors.

During the Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking Event players gain Sign of the Scourge, a buff which grants 50% bonus reputation to Wrath of the Lich King factions.

Weekly Quests

  • A Frozen Path Through Time - Pick up the quest from the Adventure Journal or Archivist Frithrun in Dornogal, and defeat 5 timewalking raid bosses or dungeons to receive one piece of gear from the latest raid.
  • A Frozen Journey Through Time - Low level characters can pick up the quest from the Adventure Journal or Auzin in Northrend Dalaran, and complete 5 timewalking dungeons to receive a Timely Goodie Bag.
  • Disturbance Detected: Ulduar - Pick up the quest from Vormu in Northrend Dalaran, and defeat Yogg-Saron in Ulduar to receive Cache of Timewarped Treasures, which contains one piece of gear on the Hero track.
  • The Unstable Prism - Pick up the quest by looting the last boss in a timewalking dungeon, and turn it in for 500 Timewarped Badges. Repeat completions of this quest will award only 200 Timewarped Badges.

The Cache of Timewarped Treasures also has a good chance to contain one of the following mounts:

Dungeons

Players can queue for Wrath of the Lich King timewalking dungeons using the LFG tool. The available dungeons are:

  • Azjol-Nerub
  • Gundrak
  • Halls of Lightning
  • The Forge of Souls
  • The Nexus
  • Utgarde Keep

Ulduar Raid

This event also includes a timewalking version of the Ulduar raid. There is no LFR option for this instance; instead, you have to queue with a raid group by speaking to Vormu in Northrend Dalaran.

The vendor for this event is Auzin. You can find him in Northrend Dalaran.

Mounts

Completing the achievement Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV rewards Ta'readon's Mount Voucher, which can be traded for one bronze covenant-themed mount. Upon purchase, the remaining mounts become available for Timewarped Badges.
