Origins
Haranir were first encountered during The War Within, but their story comes fully into focus in Midnight. Serving as ancient guardians of the Rootways, they are led by a council of elders. Fierce and vigilant, the Haranir keep watch over the wild domains of their long absent goddess, hoping for her return. Some choose to break from these traditions to join the Shul'ka, defenders against the horrors that lurk within Harandar.
One such Haranir is Orweyna, a young guardian with a powerful connection to her goddess. Guided by this bond, she ventures beyond her homeland, challenging the Haranir's long standing customs of seclusion. Through her, players are introduced to the Haranir people, their culture, and their enduring vigilance.
