General Information

• Voidtalon of the Dark Star is obtained after interacting with the Edge of Reality and looting the Voidtalon Egg within.
• Voidtalon of the Dark Star requires a minimum level of 10.
• Voidtalon of the Dark Star can be looted by Class Trials.
• Only 1 person can enter the Edge of Reality.
• If you click the Edge of Reality while in a group, the mount will be sent to your mailbox.

Spawn Information

• After a server reset, it takes 48 hours for the first Edge of Reality to spawn.
• The respawn time of Edge of Reality is a minimum of 2 hours if the portal was not claimed, and a minimum of 8 hours if the portal was claimed.

Spawn Points

To use the waypoints listed below you will need the TomTom addon.

The #ids in the waypoints are the map IDs of the Draenor zones: Shadowmoon Valley, Frostfire Ridge, Gorgrond, Talador, Nagrand and Spires of Arak. Map IDs are used instead of zone names to avoid conflict with the Outland zones that share some of the same names, while also making the waypoints work in non-English languages.

Chromie Time

There are 4 possible phases, depending on whether Chromie Time and War Mode are enabled:

• Chromie Time Off + War Mode Off
• Chromie Time Off + War Mode On
• Chromie Time On + War Mode Off
• Chromie Time On + War Mode On

Tip: If your shard is fresh or is being camped by other players, try switching between different Chromie Time and War Mode combinations. Each combination puts you on a different shard, so you can switch to get better chances of an Edge of Reality portal spawn.

How to Camp the Edge of Reality

Wait at least 48 hours after the last server reset (not daily reset). Frostfire Ridge and Shadowmoon Valley are highly recommended as there will be enough players to keep the zones from resetting. Position yourself between multiple nearby spawn points and fly around every now and then to check for spawns.

Tip: Use the NPC Time addon to check when a zone last reset.

Recommended Addons

• NPC Time - This addon tracks the uptime of enemies and helps with tracking zone resets.
• SilverDragon - This addon tracks rares and notifies you whenever a target has been spotted.
• TomTom - This addon lets you create waypoints to any location on the map.
