Aradan Hunter Pet Guide

Aradan is a secret stormrook Spirit Beast pet that Hunters can tame inside The Rookery dungeon in The War Within. Aradan matches the Algarian Stormrider mount from the Heroic Edition and has 5 different model variations with small differences in the beak, crown, brows, cheeks and tail.

Void-Scarred Stormhammer

Before entering The Rookery, you first need to find the Void-Scarred Stormhammer. Head to the sea west of the Storm's Watch area on the Isle of Dorn, dive down to the bottom and loot the Void-Scarred Stormhammer to receive the item.

Note: The hammer is found in the open world, not inside the dungeon.

Finding Aradan

Enter The Rookery on any difficulty (Normal, Heroic, Mythic or the Follower Dungeon mode) and defeat Kyrioss. After you drop down into the Stormrider Barracks, do not take the usual corridor on the right. Instead, go left and take the stairs up to The Rookery Landing where you'll find Aradan flying in circles.

Taming Aradan

Target Aradan and use the Void-Scarred Stormhammer. Aradan will recognize the hammer and fly down, allowing you to tame him.

Aradan Variations

Aradan has 5 model variations with small differences in the beak, crown, brows, cheeks and tail. A random variation appears each time you enter the dungeon. The hammer is not consumed when used, so you can run The Rookery as many times as you like to collect every variation.
